Highland to Indianapolis
Indianapolis runs straight south on I-65 through the flat central-Indiana corridor, about 150 miles and usually a same-day job start to finish. Households make the trip for a state-government transfer, a corporate move downtown or in Carmel, or simply to be closer to family away from the lakeshore.

This is one of the few long hauls we run that never touches Chicago traffic at all. The truck clears Lake County within the first few minutes and settles into a straight shot south past Lafayette, with none of the Skyway or Borman timing that shapes our other lanes. Winter still matters, since a lake-effect band can linger over the northern end of I-65 even after it clears further south, so Marcus checks both ends of the drive before committing to a departure time.
- Our own crew carries the load the full 150 miles, no subcontracted carrier touches it
- Every item inventoried and padded before the truck leaves Highland
- Departure timed around any lingering lake-effect band near the state line, November through March
- Short-term storage available if your Indianapolis closing hasn’t landed yet

A straight run down I-65 still gets the same paperwork and the same written number as any of our longer lanes. — Jeff Nowicki, owner
